Lauren has started soccer!!

She is so excited!! This is her very first time playing soccer!!  To say she is excited is an understatement!! She made sure I took some pictures of the monumental event!! I think it is so exciting to her because she is used to seeing Emma get ready for softball...so for her to have her own thing is fun!! But I do have to tell you, she runs like Phoebe off the sitcom Friends...so her soccer season should prove to be entertaining!!

Interesting things..

....that is what Lauren and Emma were looking for on our walk today. They picked out things they liked or thought were interesting for me to take pictures of. Some were very interesting..that is  for sure. For example, the frogs. I took a shot of them last year just for fun and Lauren wanted me to do it again this year. She said she wanted the picture for her room...yeah right!! Oh and then Lauren wanted the picture of the two cars. She said it looked like they were kissing. OK..it kind of does....but it looks more like how people park in Seattle. They give you less than an inch on both sides,,,makes it fun to try and get out! Emma liked the lone, little Christmas ornament hanging from someones awning. They both wanted me to take pictures of bees.  There were lots and lots of bees and flowers. Emma was not in the picture mood...but I did get her feet and Lauren of course hammed it up for the camera!! So now you too, can enjoy the interesting things we saw on our walk! :)

Fun with another photographer!

Recently I have had the chance to meet a few of the ladies who are on an online photography forum that I mentor on called ClickinMoms! I met Kara and Kristin...super fun, but my shots from that day are still sitting in a file. I also have met up with Jennifer twice, once at the zoo and then the other day at the park. I did a quick edit in Lightroom on the shots from the park so I could post them for her!! So please excuse the minimal editing and different processing! I know she was waiting for my pics from the zoo...from our first meeting, but yes, those are also sitting on my CF card. Lame, I know!! But I will get them up someday!!
