We are so incredibly proud of Emma! She was Veruca Salt this weekend in her school play. This is not just your ordinary school play. They run it like it is a professional show...making sure that everything is perfect down to the last detail. We are so lucky to have Heather Hawkins, a local actress herself here in Seattle, to direct the kids in this show. Plus the help of Mr. Jordan and our own fabulous neighbor, Jen Many as the producer! This year marked Heather's 15th year in directing and she did not disappoint. Each kid did such a wonderful job. It takes months and months of preparation to pull this off...but somehow they did it!! Both sold out shows were AMAZING!!! Emma played her part without missing a beat. She was the spoiled rotten brat, Veruca Salt and even had a solo singing "I want it now!!" Again..so proud of her an all of the other actors for their performance!!
Lauren patiently waiting for the show to open so she can find her seat. She was just bursting with pride for Emma!
Finally we are seated and Cash is also filled with excitement!! Emma had lots and lots of people there cheering her on! :)
Receiving her flowers at the end...she was on cloud nine all weekend!!
